Uniforms
& Footwear

Correct uniform, footwear and bib placement help athletes compete safely and meet Centre, Regional and State competition requirements.

Uniform

Green, Black

The polo shirt is compulsory and must be worn at every Centre, Regional and State competition.

Bib
Information

Ashmore Little Athletics no longer uses separate age labels. Athlete age group information is now included as part of the athlete bib system.

Athletes must wear their bib/registration number correctly on competition days so officials can identify athletes and record results accurately.

Please refer to the current Little Athletics Queensland bib information for the most up-to-date bib placement and competition requirements.

Bib Placement

The athlete bib/registration number should be attached to the front of the approved Ashmore uniform and remain clearly visible while competing.

Families should check the bib is secure before each competition day and follow any updated instructions provided by Ashmore Little Athletics or Little Athletics Queensland.

If a new LAQ bib placement image is supplied, upload it to the website Media Library and it can replace this information panel.

Footwear Is Compulsory

Suitable footwear must be worn by all athletes while competing in all events at Little Athletics Centres.

  • Parents should encourage children to wear shoes at all times.

Why It Matters
